A maybe-believe story interweaved through historical facts describing our family tradition that we are descendants of Simon Fraser, 11th Lord Lovat, infamously beheaded at the Tower of London, through our ancestor Archibald Frazer (Archie) who was born in France about 1703, then disowned by his mother Amelia, Lady Dowager of Lovat, so living his life in exile from kin and clan. He was first a cavalry trooper, then raising a family at Dunacleggan, Queens County, Ireland, where he died about 1794.The narrative contains much conjecture and dramatisation and it is to be expected that not all of this is true, but there is nothing within that is known to be false.
