What a beautiful night to lie...staring up at the star-spangled sky. For the moment our victim is content to drift along with the current. Yet, as the roar of the waterfall grows steadily louder, his life flashes before him. First to visit are the memories of Dwayne...flashes in the night...the haunting visions of all those poor souls he had sent to their doom. Even as the current continues to drag the canoe and its occupants toward their death...even as the demons in his mind continue to chatter about the past...our victim begins to realize that he can change his reality...our hero begins to fight for his place in the future. Yet, is even this awakening part of Dwayne's plan? A master plan to destroy his victim?

    Read the book years ago and lost my copy in an inter-continent move. Saw the (various) movies - and the BBC series Hannay - did lights for the play. It's great to have it in ePub format.
