Creepy Church
This story begins a small-town of Haverton, Ohio no-one has ever heard happened in the late 1800s. There is a church, but it wasn't an ordinary church this church was not what you would think of when thought of a church, this church was pure evil!!! Story goes way back in the late 1800s there a church that stood in an empty field where nothing grew, back at that time this church was prominent and popular towns members would gather here every Sunday for service and it was safe refuge. All that changed in a blink of an eye. One night in this small town someone claimed to see to see two strangers come through the town, and they both insane they went to the church and murdered the preacher and his secretary, the stranger leaves but the woman he was with claimed to his girlfriend felt guilty about what she did and she took the knife and killed herself, when the bodies were found everyone was in a panic and some people blamed other towns people for what happened, no-one ever really knew and this stranger left as quickly as he came now some say it was the devil himself who did it others say different. They searched the town, buildings, homes, the church, there was no sign of him, he was gone like he vanished. Some say the town was cursed, some say it was nothing but bad luck, this town had its bad scary past. After the murders, the church was boarded up and locked up, no-one ever went in it again, for this church was no longer sacred. About two weeks after the murder things got worse in the town, one night a town person was out walking through down and swore they saw a group of people wearing hooded capes and carrying lanterns and carrying some type of long knife with weird symbols on it, and they disappeared into the church. Some say this satanic cult broke in the church and did rituals, spells, and even human sacrifices. This person claimed to be walking by the church and he swore he heard growling, hissing, and evil voices coming from the church, swore he saw the devil himself in there walking around like he owned the place. Frightened by what he saw he went running home and started to pray. Kids from the town had heard rumors floating around the town from adults that very church they use to go to is now haunted, these four young group of boys broke in and explored the church, they split off into all going their separate ways, one kid claimed to see a lady wearing a long flowered dress with a lacy collar, she was tall, curly hair and her hair was pulled up in a bun, she was holding a lady and she held a knife to her throat like she about to slash it, she popped of the door scaring the little boy half out his mind and heard a voice come from behind her that was loud and forceful, "GET OUT" and boy ran and hid. Now the boys were upstairs walking around and said that the preacher likes to hang out up there and boys wanted to see it for themselves, they walk into the room where the preacher lived and felt really cold they could see they breath they heard footsteps coming towards them they start to freak out, they come closer and then they hear a disembodied raspy voice say "HELP ME" the boys freaked out and ran into the other room but realize where they just ran it was the room where the murder took place the room felt weird it made them feel sick and dizzy they began to see things, then a big evil shadow came out from the closet and slammed the door shut and locked it. "Oh my gosh they yelled out were trapped in here, what are going to do?" The boys just sat there shaking and shivering and stuttering to one another. The other boys were already going down to the steps of the basement where it all started, this the part of the story where the satanic cult casts a spell and opened a portal to the other side and let in a whole mess of demons, and even the devil himself. Now the boys continued on and made all the down the steep steps they reached the bottom, and it was damp, cold, and the animosity you could cut with a knife, but they could also feel the pain, the sadness, the regret, evil, it was too much for them to bare and they cried and sobbed. They still managed to move on and in that very basement they found the very spot where that satanic cult that ritual, they found bones, and even dried blood, they the burnt mark where there was a huge fire, and around that was a pentagram that still looked fresh. What those boys didn't know is that satanic cult was coming back, the boys were exploring the rest of the basement and weren't paying attention to what was going on around them. They were voices coming from the back of the church, they heard chanting and then they heard footsteps, they look up and see a group of men wearing hooded capes and carrying lanterns, they were to have another ritual. The boys started to panic they looked for a place to hide they find a small door where the root cellar was then n ran it and hid. They didn't know the danger that was lurking in the root cellar, hiding in good spot the boys were crouched down, but still had a good view of what the cult was doing. One of the boys hear a guttural growl, followed by a long hiss, they jumped up and turned their lantern to where the sound came from, they red glowing eyes it started to come at them the ran out of that door cellar and back up the stairs that thing was following them and it was close behind them they run up the stairs tripping but quacking getting up, they look behind them yet again, this huge black mass with red eyes is coming up the stairs the boys finally make upstairs to the safety of the church or so they thought. The three boys were reunited only to find them surrounded by ghosts and demons, they have nowhere to run they're surrounded, they run upstairs but it's no better up there they the preacher but they aren't scared at all they felt a peace, they see the preacher and slowly appeared in front of them and spoke, "your friends are locked in that back room by a horrible demon creature, beware, then the door they were still locked in clicked open and the knob slowly turned and the door squeaked as it opened further, the boys locked in there were totally freaked out but happy they were free, they ran the other boys and all ran down the steps and left the church and vowed never to set foot in there again.
