Cauldron

From an ordinary day

into red

gone vanished

all words mean the same

in this gasping haze

in my kitchen

shapes shifting

mist boiling

stewed into fire

flip tripping

flickering tongues

warm as the cauldron water is wet

I need to create the magic stone

a spell to tide me through

stirring whirlpools

surrounded by glowing red blazes

which cackles as the witch laughs

brewing molecules

factions divide in the liquid syrup

a spell of cast iron

a cannonball piercing the walls

release the fire

and the flames still a prisoner

dance alone

arising, writhing as the snake

smoke that twists

driven into power

powder and ash

falling through the brick

through to the black

rainbow colors flashing white

into green

the stone is here

just waiting to be seen

warping into evil

just another ordinary day
