Don’t judge.

Jeremy whispers into a microphone on his mixing board.

JEREMY

Mic check. Check.

The words bounce between Jeremy’s scattered amplifiers. A loud electronic hiss emanates from the broken amp.

JEREMY

Goddamnit! Did you happen to bring any more of your Soma?

Levon digs under his blankets. His backpack is lying on his belly. He exposes a small bag of dried mushrooms and a large vacuum pack of white mycelium. He tosses Jeremy a small bag of mushrooms.

Jeremy catches it. His eyes widen.

JEREMY

Thank God! I’m embarrassed to have run out. June stole my reserves.

LEVON

June?

JEREMY

She came by last week looking for psychedelics. Some corporate retreat she’s planning. Levon? Are you still with us?

LEVON

I keep having hallucinations. A waterfall of disembodied vaginas, spilling over me.

JEREMY

That’s probably the morphine. I hope I didn’t give you too much. I forget what the normal dosage is. She asked about you by the way.
