Kids LOVE IT when they see teachers laugh or smile. Your class wil spend more time in your classroom than almost any other single place in their lives.
And sure, teaching is serious business but it is important, usualy for your own sanity, that you don’t lose sight of the trees for the forest.
Kids need to see how adults interact. Show them that having a joke and not taking everything SO seriously is important.
