We looked at the pros to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter so now we will review the cons.

Many factors go into deciding which social media platform is best for you. Some things to consider are:

Who are you targeting? If you are targeting corporations or people who are relocating, LinkedIn might be the best place to start. Are you reaching out to buyers and sellers? If so, Twitter or Facebook may work better for you.

Your personality. Are you more inclined to post small snippets of content such as a 140-word post? Or are you more comfortable posting answers to specific questions?

How To Quickly and Inexpensively Generate Leads Using Social Media Because people follow thousands of people at a time, it’s not uncommon for your message to get lost in the shuffle. Repeating yourself is almost necessary – but do so with caution or you’ll get unfollowed quickly. In other words, if you’re marketing new listings, don’t post the same tweet about it four or five times in a row. Go slowly and incorporate it within your tweets throughout a few days time.

Excess is easily misinterpreted as spam – so don’t make it a habit to only promote yourself or your listings.
