As a successful caterer for 23 years, I have been immersed into all aspects of running catering operations from kitchen management (Chef by trade) to all front of house management including bar and restaurant and progressing to General Management for the last 13 years. The past 9 years has seen me progress further with financial involvement in a very successful restaurant that turns over 7 figures year on year. The trade is extremely demanding not just of time but also mental and physical strength.
To run such a successful business in the offline world involves a lot of time, input, involvement not just to the customers but to the 45 staff I currently employ.
The day to day running of my business requires me to have a mindset of certain positivity and clear goals. I have been setting 5 year plans for most of my life and am happy to say that ALL of my plans have come to fruitition within the set timescales. This is my way of dealing with and organizing all the aspects of my life.
