Sample Command Policy
This appendix provides an example of an environmental policy letter and a unit order for appointing an environmental officer. Figure 1-I, page 1-2, depicts a commander's environmental policy letter, and figure 1-2, page 1-3, provides an example of an environmental officer appointment order. Additional policy letters may be required for specific operations within your unit and may be drafted using the basic format of the memorandums in this appendix.
