Book Description HTML

Dominex Pharmaceuticals must get their new drug on the market or the company will go under. Pay offs for quick approvals won’t work this time. The new gatekeeper at the FDA plays by the book. I love stores that hook me in to the characters and keep me there with a well developed, believable plot. Might be considered a "woman's" book as so much of it revolves every day life issues most women face and have no problem sympathizing, relating to and understanding the feelings, thoughts and emotions. A good read. Will look for more by this author.

The book starts off a bit too sentimental and somewhat slow, but it gets more engaging and in the end it wraps up very nicely.

    Very Well-Written

The story was one that most middle-aged women can empathise with, divorced or not. Empty nests are a reality and having true friends and a sweet pet who all offer unrestrained love and support are key. The book embodies real life, is well told and engaging. Can't wait to see more of Ms Wolfe's work.

    Extremely Well Written Mystery

Thoroughly enjoyable mystery with a well cast group of characters. The journey of the main character involves a combination of a sleuth and a woman moving on. The background main character reminds us of women of previous generations and the important part they play in history.

White chick lit, with murder, violence, theft and fairy tale ending. A good plot and with some historical background but an easily forgotten story.

This was the first book I've read from this site, and even though there were a couple of rough transitions, it turned out to be a solid literary mystery without being too annoyingly formulaic. The characters were interesting and I would read more by Meg Wolfe. Good job!
