It was a rainy day, Sam and Will had not experienced the war that happened before but they met up again for the first time outside of a Tobacco shop. It was a beautiful sunday, everyone was off of work and Will’s soldiers along with Sam’s men were hanging out in the background. Sam takes out a lighter to spark the stick of tobacco in his hand they bought cheap.
All of a sudden, William gets a text..it was an article of an apparent cheating scandal between Sam and Will’s wife Kate..”Sam Sam, what is this article I am reading?” asks William.
“Common Will, it’s a lie, how can you believe such wild nonsense?” asks Sam not knowing William was holding out a picture evidence of Sam having an adulterous relationship with his wife. Sam retreats his lie instantly, “ It just happened man. I just gave in, it felt too nice.” Will get flustered because the situation was scandalous. “You couldn’t have smoked a cigarette to get the same feeling you got then, even if it was that one time? Did you ruin our friendship because you couldn’t control yourself?” asks Will. The situation was escalating too fast and Sam was hanging low in words. The agitation lingers…”Sam, you can get the same feelings you get from the tobacco you smoke in the same way you do a woman, I can’t believe this.” William puts his stick back in the box and leaves the scene.
Act 3
Sam really wanted to get high so he called his friend over for some fun. Sam had hooked up with his best friend's wife the night before and they had decided to keep their relationship quiet but due to the feelings he had for his beloved best friend, Sam decided to carry on his relationship with him. Sam loved the attention he was getting from the scandal with his best 18
friend William's wife but there was also a bill in parliament proposed that needed signing from the citizens of the state. The bill will allow the citizens to purchase and have Cannabis in their homes and use it for recreational purposes. Sam was one of the head litigators in the case due to his prime time job but his ascension in the political world was going slow. He took it on himself to get cozy with William's wife for attention so the bill would pass faster. They sat down together on the couch after they met up. Right before they light up, Sam, filled with emotion, confesses due to the love of his friend. “ Will, I have to tell you something. Catty and I hooked up last night. I just thought you should know.” Will puts down the lighter before the spark. “ I thought you might say that.” She actually told me last night before we went to sleep. Things haven't been the same since. “ I also wanted to let you know this is the end of your ascension. I put a stop to the bill. It is no longer up for debate nor discussion. My family and I will heal and recover moving forward but this is where our allegiance ends, along with the bill you wanted passed.”
William exits the scene.
Moral of the story, adultery is a bad decision.
