Book Description

This book provides practical advice and specific activities parents can use to help their kids excel in school. It is aimed at parents of children in elementary school. We believe – and research shows – that a child’s success in school is often defined at a very early age. We wrote this book to encourage and help parents to be pro-active in getting their kids off on the right foot.

I read this book many years ago and re-read it again recently. A. Merritt has a done a great job and keeps the reader moving right along. The characters are believable and the plot is kind of creepy, but not horror. An excellent read and we are worse for not having more of Merritt's written work.

This book had a few funny elements but it was a great read, my heart was in my throat for more than half of it.

A good example of the genre and era - a bit like some of Jules Vernes books - a lost civilisation under the earths surface with advanced technology but no morals.
