YOUR MOM KNOWS YOUR

WEAKNESS

You are no superman. Mom knows that. She knows you have limits. She knows areas where you are not too good. She recognizes your weaknesses. Mom sees with four eyes, she recognizes when you struggle with doing something, and she stands watching. She is trying to acknowledge that you have ability. She comes along to help because she feels and knows there is only a little far you can go without her help. In life, enormous challenges and storms encumber us. Often times we allow the challenges take the shine off our ability to succeed. The absolute truth is that moms always give a helping hand during tough and challenging times. Mom realizes as she always does that you need a helping hand. She does not give up on you even when you do not seem to get over your challenges; rather she stands by your side to encourage you. She understands the principle Arianna Huffington asserts when she says, “the fastest way to break the cycle perfectionism and become a fearless mother is to give up the idea of doing it perfectly, in deed to embrace uncertainty and imperfection.”

Everyone have areas of strength and weakness and moms are great at discovering that. They give advice and mentoring base on the perceived strengths and weakness of the kids. This is their specialty. Try this, Ask your mom about you, your strength, and weakness. Do not be surprise at the answer she gives you, because she seems to know all about you. Open up to your mom, she will tell you all she knows about you.

Everyone fails and you are no exception. Everyone that wants to succeed must learn to fail. Your mom understands this secret and she is determined to use this secret to perfection. To succeed, you must know how to fail. Mama will want to allow you the chance to fail because you have the right to it. Failure is part of the deal. The best mom wants is subject to your failures. She wants to be able to teach you some humility. She wants to be able to bend you. While there is always a tendency towards acting supernatural, mom looks at you with such tenderness. She admires your courage but knows you cannot go farther than your nose. She acknowledges your audacity, sees it as a great virtue, which requires some molding. Mom knows. Though you tend to show strength, she sees within that strength a weakness something you may be blind to see. Milley Cyrus declares, “I don’t want to be perfect, but I do want to be a role model. My mom always tells me that imperfection equals beauty, everyone is perfect.”

You have a right to fail for it is only in failure that the true you are seen and developed. Let mom know you can fail, she is all hears to see that best come to you. She knows how to turn you into a prodigy. The likes of Webster, Carson and many others are testimonies to this fact. Their mothers allowed them fail and today they are been celebrated. You may not fail but you have a right to it. Failure only propels you forward. Failure pushes you to discontentment and then a search for a way out. This secret mom knows and she is applying this principle even when you do not notice it.
