MRS NURSE

No one can play the role of my nurse better than you do. You are the best nurse for me. God made a natural nurse in you. He made you my mother by default and designed you specifically for this role. You may not have a nursing degree but for my siblings and I, you have all the degrees you can need to nurse us. God knew I was coming through you and he designed you just for them. You are a gift to us and we as your children do appreciate you.

You nursed me through nine months in your womb. That was a great nursing role. You might not have physically seen me those nine months but you saw my effect and you aligned your lifestyle towards my survival. Your mind was undergoing some preparation in welcoming a new child the world had not seen. Your role as a nurse began immediately you noticed I was beginning to form inside you.

Though you had to visit the hospital to see those academically trained nurses and doctors, you realized how much the bulk of raising the unborn me depended on you. The nurses can only give advice but the work was with you to manage strategically your plan of action to suit me.

The period of child bearing is a trying one and you needed the support of matrons. But immediately I came into the world, their job was done, yours continued. You carried a responsibility only you could effectively fulfill. You have successfully nursed me to the height I have now reached. The truth is no one could have played this role better than you have done it.

During periods of illness, you have always stood by me. It is your responsibility. You are the best physician I need and will ever need. As my nurse, it is pertinent that you upgrade yourself with the current techniques. Society and technology often changes but your role as my nurse is unchanging. Your role permeates through every changing sphere.

Nurses at the hospital work in shifts, but your role has no shift. You are a full time nurse. That is a mom’s pride. It is a great job being a nurse but its greater being a mom. I do value all the efforts and sacrifices you have put together in raising me.

There is a clear difference between you mom and those nurses at the hospital. You have the patience to see me through those trying health moments. The love cord bonds us together, a cord that is non-existent with those nurses at the hospital. You might have noticed the sometimes-cruel nature of nurses. You do need to show a great level of cool headedness. You have to realize that the best you want for me requires a dedicated open policy of treating me nicely.

Even when I am healthy, you nurse like attributes helps you to guard against any future illness. By taking the right decisions, providing the right meals, giving the right medicines, I can always stay healthy. Moms love their children looking healthy and I trust that you will work towards my continuous wellness.

My health is your wealth and my wealth too. Be a great nurse, be the greatest ever. Even when I do have my family, I will always remember what a great nurse I had in my mom.

With love

Your beloved daughter
