Not every Board Meeting will have this obvious of a lesson—sometimes the lessons are more subtle, the connection more gradual. Don’t expect visible, profound results, or put pressure on creating the perfect meeting. The process works even when it’s not this picture perfect, and the relationship builds even when it doesn’t play out as vividly as tackling a fear of heights.
