She loved it! After a few runs, I suggested we walk up the hill instead of taking the moving walkway thingee. At first she didn't want to but I convinced her. We could hike to the top quicker even though it was more work pulling our tubes up.

In the car on the way home, she astutely proclaimed, "We went the extra mile."

Yes!

That's one of our 13 Silver Keys (our family values we've created), and I was so thrilled to have her no- tice and see how going the extra mile gave us a better experience (probably 4 more runs). I always stress the importance of being willing to do the extraordinary things ordinary people won't.

For the final run, she just wanted to smile and have her arms up in the air enjoying the moment. Wow! I'm literally watching her mature and grow before my eyes.

After tubing we capped off the day by walking around and stumbling onto a yummy lunch, gourmet chocolate spot and a trip to a crystal shop.

Many nights I ask the kids what their 3 favorite things are from the day or what they're appreciative of.

Tonight, Zoe said, "Too many to name." Mission accomplished.
