If we have never served the poor...
If compassion has not entered our door...
If we have never ever been kind,
then we must know that we are blind.
Have you ever reached out to serve somebody? Have you ever put a smile on somebody else's face? Have you ever been kind? What do we realize when we live with compassion? We experience a deep sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. Why? It is because every living creature is a manifestation of the Divine. We don't realize it, but service to the poor is prayer to God. The Divine dwells in each heart, be it man or beast. Unfortunately, there are some people who are blind. They never grab an opportunity to be kind. They are prisoners of their own mind. They live and die in a material grind. When will we realize the Divine presence all around us?
