(197) Works Of Love
Part Two I
Love Builds Up
Introduction
Part Two continues two ideas along with much else
They're Kierkegaard's profound concerns
To love thy neighbor as thyself
And that God's love's middle term
He does not bring them in directly
Not in the words he uses in Part Two
But let us assume and quite correctly
If you're here, you feel their truth
Let us assume when love is mentioned
And love is everywhere
It is Part Two's true intention
God, the middle term's, found there
The works of love in building-up
Builds our sacred perception
Divine presence always fills love's cup
Beyond our dimensional imagination
Here we conceive the inconceivable
Perhaps the essential task of faith
Believe in the unbelievable
Where the truth now stands in wait
The vastness of Kierkegaard's conception
We can also feel as intimate
Love empowers all our creation
It's reservoir is infinite
To love thy neighbor as thyself
And God is love's middle term
Form the essential, living pulse
What in Part Two we learn
