Architect of Astral Energy

By Alan Ayazyam

Dedicated to my grandmother Constance Atkins

For whom no duty is too small or too large

If it is truly needed

Believing

It takes belief

Convincing yourself

It takes faith

Putting what you know into practice

To start with

Whisper your wild fantasy

Into the ear of your lover

As if you believed it was possible

As if you knew it would happen

The rest will come on its own

Starting as the spark of belief

It will build into a wildfire

And your consume you

With bliss

Nonsense

One day you’ll fall in love

With nonsense

You’ll see

Part of This

I can’t help but be

Part of this

It is part my sin

Part yours

We are carrying it together

Until the day we can be released

Into infinity

And be Part of Everything

Not just part of This

But part of all of the This’s

And all the parts

And then we will have peace

Confusion

I fell in love

And my mind was reeling with confusion

I said everything and probably too much

And yet I still did not say what I needed to

Boring

We worn down treads on the path

Going around and around in circles

Repeating the same patterns

And it was SO boring

Until we stop trying to be anything

And allowed ourselves to be everything

Scorpion Sting

The scorpion sting

Consumes everything

You are the feeling of

Nothing left to lose

The Bottom of the Hearth

My life is at the bottom of the hearth

Playing dead

Waiting to be thrown

Into the fire

Reality

You have to convince yourself

And one other person that what you want

Is possible

Reality is shared belief

It can’t all be self contained

We have to participate

We aren’t perfect and yet we are

Architect of Astral Energy

I am barreling down the highway

Of this mundane universe

Wishing for a better way to travel

Posing questions in desperate hours of anticipation

Wishing on stars

Watching the clock

Doing nothing

I am crafting my world

One cell at a time

With care and precision

With love and vision

But I always know

I don’t control it all

Units of Circular Energy

I put down letters onto a page

I build circles of energy

I contain myself and others within thoughts

Designed to stop the powerful energy of life

From getting out of control

Irritated

These people get irritated

Watching a candle

Begging it to burn down

Faster

Nobody Home

Empty of all contents

There is a simple moment

When I realize my mind is not me

Artificial Light

Artificial Light

Artificial Heat and Cold

The mechanism

The machine

Deals out cards

Trying to make us forget

We are one with nature

Hot Tub

Naked in the Hot Tub

Drinking a Beer

I am nothing

Without you here

A Project That Never Ends

Life is an ongoing project

Try to put a cap on it

Bring it to a comfortable conclusion

You will fail

I will watch you fail

The Narrative

Strong Men Struggle

Trying to Fulfill the Conclusion

Of the Narrative

Kill Yourself

I say

Don’t

When Before Was Now

There Was a Time When Before Was Now

You learned the lesson and got through

Somehow

Can you help me move this chair

To allow the air to flow

Out of the vent

The Non-Stop Worrying

You worried it all to its bitter conclusion

You still failed

You deserve whatever you get

You are not a slave to the worrying

Which paints a picture of your life

You do not need to accept

Above the Almighty

Everything was okay

Before you started trying to make it okay

I wait in silence

I am not a slave to your conclusions

I wait in silence

I reckon with my own mind

I set myself free from yours

Appropriate Wednesday

I took my time waiting

For appropriate Wednesday

Before I let out a long

Long

Fart

Narcissism

A million people die

Never knowing their own reflection

Every year

I Have the Violence

I have all the violence

Tucked into a pouch

So

Without Violence

What Would you Like to Talk about?

Nobody Cares

Nobody is Willing to Care

Unless You Care About them

Entity

I stand on the firm ground

Of the Absolute

I cannot die

You are wasting your time and energy

Trying to kill me

Instead, let yourself die

And become me

A Journey Commences

A Journey Commences

And You Are Invited to Join

You have to Stop Trying

To get to where I am

Stop Trying

And You can Begin

I Never Need

I have no needs

Not big ones

Not Small Ones
