XIX

I was sitting in the coffee shop

And I couldn’t stop

Anybody of talking.

I was smoking

And I had nothing in my mind.

I thought that I had behind

Myself many days that I spent

Here, understanding what life meant

Day after day,

Talking to people

And thinking to stay

Somewhere in the middle

Of the common events of an ordinary

Afternoon. But soon

Something happened,

I got bored

In a sort

Of way and I thought that I should

Look outside the coffee shop

For a place to stop

And study life.

Suddenly I saw my wife

With a Teddy bear in her arms

Crossing the street and the charm

Of the bear made me jealous,

My wife seemed to adore him

And soon

She was leaving without noticing me.

The bear waved with his arm

In my direction!

I waked up and I saw my wife

Sleeping near me,

My old Teddy bear

Was lying on the chair,

I should not despair,

My dream just flew in the air!
