Falling Away From Me

by

Sully Erna & Robby Richardson & Ellis G. Tilley

Dedication

I just want to give a special dedication to Sully Erna.

A man that I believe is one of / if not the best modern day poet.

“I am your secrets, I am your lies”

You are my weakness, you tantalize

Your taste forever in my mind

“A grain of pleasure”

Treasured high above the pain

Will I ever be the same

“Take all of me”

“Tell me that you want me”

Forget the pain you caused me...It still haunts me

Reminds me of...”Who I used to be”

The image of you still reminds me

“How long can we”

“Make believe we’re something we were never meant to be”

It’s all falling away from me

“You tried to hide me”

And then I found me

dropped down deep inside of me and haunt me

You take all of me and leave nothing of me

So take all of me as it all falls away from me

breaks me and takes me like dust in the air does it take from me

The cost of a life that I have clung so close to

[Ellis G. Tilley]

I neglected the signs that you were not meant for me

Disregarded the warnings that we were not destined to be

At first I did not notice that she wore “a mask of shame”

Her “innocence disguised”, and like a game she played me

“Was it worth the love you received” now our hearts live “separate lives”

Yours far from the poisoned one of mine.

“Take all of me”

“Tell me that you want me”

Forget the pain you caused me…It still haunts me

Reminds me of...”Who I used to be”

The image of you still reminds me

“How long can we”

“Make believe we’re something we were never meant to be”

It’s all falling away from me

Slipped from my grip like the lies that you say

It’s all falling away from me

Let go of a hold that what glitters is gold

It’s all falling away from me

Falling away from me

The End
