counseling the masses

just by worrying a little more today

Fear is a hot commodity

selling more than enough to buy another yacht for the peddler

despite the fact that the price is the life of the viewer

Fear is a demanding lover

embraced by the religious

who talk boldly about faith

but stagger along under their own power

Fear is the drunkard

talking confidently about everything

while groping blindly

for a firm foundation

Fear is a spider

paralyzing its victim with terror

and leaving them with nothing

nothing but the wish for something

more
