like a car crash

but maybe that just means that you now have an opportunity to meet the one you were

always supposed to be with

sometimes love lurks in the wings

like a celebrity waiting for a camera flash

What you wanted to do was canceled

a portrait of striving and strife

a note rumpled in the ruins

but maybe that just means that you now have the opportunity to do what you always

needed to do

sometimes a dream is rebuilt

from the rubble of your former life

If you look around, people may be laughing at you

chirping and cackling

because you’re different

but maybe that’s just an opportunity for you to laugh because they are all the same

they always say that birds of a feather laugh together

but even then, they are only a collective birdbrain

hungry for another worm
