The Soul Awakened
It became unstuck
From the tattered
Shattered and loss of belief
Like lost sheep
Well into the darkened night
Awakened to the brisk of daylight
A soft spoken, windy, breeze
Was felt within the soul
Behold
Squander the penetrated emotions
Frozen
Was the human
Chilled as ice
Cracked open and dehumanized
While the heart was throbbing
Pounding
A melody of
Musical chords
Struck a raw note
The soul awakened
From the nightmare
Dare to leave its shell!
Avoid show and tell
Honesty won and was fed great light
As the soul was awakened in the darkened night
Feelings
Feelings running deep are a heartbreaking sight
The Poet’s pen gives release and delight
Thoughts and strong emotions race through the echoes of time
Harboring a saving grace to reach the divine
Sadness in the heart reaches its destined peak
By surrendering completely to reach a state of peace
Comes from God’s heavenly grace
Worthy to treasure and hold for a sacred place
Of wisdom, faith, hope and love
Spreading their fruits of blessings sent from God above
