Spirit of Light
Rushed
To the heart, to keep the soul alive
Almost lost from the tragic, bumpy, ride
Souls roam until dooms day
One heartsick person begins to pray
Dark skies threaten shelter in the empty home
Grasping for comfort while being alone
None comes as the tornado that sweeps through the streets
Searching to take refuge as one valiantly weeps
Cries for the victims of innocence, are heard intently
Amidst daydreams sent in secrecy
To God the almighty
A flicker of hope is felt suddenly
