RAGE

Bitterly fuming, she took wild strides away from her hillside abode into the wide forest where animalism presides and carnality reside.  In haste, she wriggled her chaste waist into the forest of waste. Her latest rage was to wage resentment against the masculine siege that had put her feminine sage in the backstage for years. She has broken through the cage and let herself unto a new page of freedom. From the girl child till her blossoming when she was laid with the virgin beads, she did all that the society bid. Now, it’s time to rid free of this slavery.

Mystified, though not completely dazed, that her culture ratified her petrified days of torture in a masculine siege, is the genesis of her rage. Her voice was of no earthly essence and her heartily choices got swallowed in the cultural noise of norms. Her place in grace had been debased to fill a sexual space and her only drive as a wife had been to strife with the hard life of a domestic wildlife.

Now she leaves her domestic wildlife to find peace in the terrestrial wildlife of the forest. She glides into the dark forest without any guide. Her revolution is strong, and her resolution is that the forest is her only consolation. It is the only place far away from cultural formalities and domestic brutalities which is what she is running from. She has grown animosity against humanity. She is gone and nothing will bring her back. I can only hope she gets the forest’s bliss and find her peace.
