What is a friend?
A person you share laughter with
Someone who helps you up
That guy who knows you through and through
Despite your mistakes is always at your side
Or is a friend someone who
In your darkest times disappears like your shadow
Or is one to manipulate you like dough
The last two lines describe bogus friends
They want you to succeed
But never do they want you to surpass them
True friendship knows no sex
True friendship knows no social status
True friendship knows no religious affiliation
Friendship is not a bond of blood
Calamity after calamity maybe the sequence
A true friend will be there in instance
Even if you are separated by a long distance
But true friendship is a bond of love
