Romance is dead

I don’t believe in Romeo and Juliet
Ever since “She” cheated me, it felt like my heart had been hit by a bullet
Playing with my emotions like Russian roulette
“She” told me I was for keeps a cutie
I don’t believe in romance
With her puffy eyes she radiated innocence
Least did I know that she was the devil’s incarnate
I curse the day “She” became part of my fate
The sorrow the anguish in my mind I meditate
I will forever carry this hate
So blinded by her live l believed it when
“She” said a square has five sides
Her fake love covered my heart like raging ocean tides
I swear never to love again
My vows to long life celibacy
It may sound crazy
Everything around me is hazy
“She” left me to pick up pieces of my broken heart
I fell for her Creole texture
An exotic black and white mixture
I curse the day I saw that creature
I don’t need love in my future
With my pike and shovel, I cover the grave
Six foot under
I can smugly say romance is dead
