WINDS OF CHANGE

Candice James

Copyright 1996

The autumn wind is blowing.

The midnite moon is glowing

And my heart is breaking over you.

I’m still all alone.

A statue made of stone.

I wonder if you’re lonely too.

It wouldn’t be a sin

If we just both gave in

And let our love start anew.

The autumn sun was warm

Before our winter storm.

Those winds of change tore us apart.

They swept our love away

On that winter day.

They stole you and they broke my heart.

The winds of change of were strong

Like a haunting song.

The memory still lingers on.

If I could turn back time,

If you could still be mine,

The winds of change would change your mind.

Wont you fly back to me my love

On the winds of change above

Oh winds of change that stole him

Please bring him home I love him.
