Wild Beast (via 1999)

I beat the hell outta my car

I did it only for you

To show my deepest affection

And alternative to I DO

I drove as fast as the wind

Against the flowing current

To ease the agony of defeat

I burned pages as I turned it

My embrace is a solemn Hello

My kiss welcomes your Goodbye

My letters beg for your bitter

Stampede stroll as I stand by

My heel crushes the larva

A cocoon in its sweet development

The dove squirms in a grip of

Vengeful hands of my destruction

I cry out to the lightning

To consume the offering below

Only the winds blow by over

It's my breath I beg see go

Tear me apart you wild animal

Show your rage oh wild beast

Don't cower like a flogged kitten

Allow me to bleed in defeat
