FROM GUEST POETESS MARIA LAURA BALBUENA:

Someday

By: LauraBalbuena031607

Someday, there will always be an end to everything,

An end for all the sacrifices you’ve faced.

For the sufferings you are into right now,

and for the lonely moments you shouldered all alone.

Someday the world may revolve

For you to feel and be involved,

To see the wonders of life

And appreciate the beauty on how it grows and multiply.

Someday life may be rough again,

But as you go along,

Learning from life’s journey will make you strong.

Be patient my friend,

‘coz someday gray clouds will turn to blue,

There’s a bright morning after the shallow night

And there is rainbow after every storm.

Thus, there is always someday for you to love and be loved,

To feel that you really belong,

To believe that someday, hope brightens the ‘morrow,

and to see sunshine after great sorrow.

Angel in disguise

By: LauraBalbuena050510

There are so many stories around,

Every corner, there I found.

I may not know how the story goes,

Whether it’s a happy or sad but still nobody knows.

I’m very nosy how people hold then so quietly,

how they cope up and live with it so lively.

there may be times, I saw people crying,

but most of the time people I saw were smiling and laughing.

I remember the saying, “No man is an island,”

which for me means we do really need a hand,

a hand that could lift us up every time we fall;

unconditionally assist us to stand tall,

and teach us how to cherish everything after all.

Then I realized people around us are fallen angels.

Silently, help us resolve every puzzled story we carry.

A stranger, a friend, a love and even an enemy in sight,

are ANGELS sent from above in disguise.

Padayon higala

By: LauraBalbuena041918

Sa imong pagpanikaysikay,

Sa imong pagpaningkamot

Dili malikayannaay mga saway,

Dili malikayan ang uban dili mahimoot.

Ayaw kadismaya.

Ayaw kapungot.

Paningkamot ilikayi ang pagdumot.

Kay niining kinabuhia, pildiang maglagot.

Kung kabalo ka sakinauyokan sa imong kasing-kasing,

Limpyo imong mga intensyon,

Imong ginabuhat dili sakadaut,

walakay angay ikagool,

wala kay angay ikahadlok.

Padayon higala,

Mga damgo padayon kab-ota

Mga kalisud dili babagayaw ka wala sa pag-asa.

Isipausa ka na kahagdanan;

Hagdanan para imong makab-ot tanan.
