PRAYER OF COMMITMENT

Loving God, thank You for Your unconditional
love.
Father, Creator of all, thank You for creating me in Your image and likeness – lovable, beautiful, and for taking delight in me as in Your Beloved Son Jesus.
Beloved Jesus, my Merciful Savior, thank You for taking me out of darkness to be in Your wonderful light and for choosing me as Your Spouse, the Bride of the Lamb.
Holy Spirit, sanctifier of all, thank You for being a constant companion and for all Your help and inspiration.
Loving God, what can I render You for all the good You have wrought in my life?
I will empty myself from all that is not You so as to be filled by you and to love like You.
I commit to give what I myself received, Your unconditional love and the rich heritage of Fr. Founder, Francisco Palau. And like him, to render service to the Beloved – the Church – God and neighbors according to my ways and means, always open and ready to respond to the call of the moment.
Help me to be a worthy channel of Your unconditional love and saving presence to all and to be faithful like Mother Juana Gratias, to the charism and spirituality of our CM Family.
MY DAILY PRAYER
Beloved God, my joy, my ALL, I choose You. I adore, praise and thank You for who You are, the great God who loves us unconditionally and boundlessly. And who, You created me to be – Beloved, Gift and Your Joy too. I unite myself to You.
May I truly live in You and love like You. And may Your boundless love and joy be truly manifested to all.
And all attain to that BLESSED LIFE IN YOU. AMEN.
PRAYER FOR THE SALVATION OF THE WORLD
Father, hear our prayer for the salvation of the world. Grant mercy to all souls that turned away from You. Open their hearts and minds with Your light.
Gather Your children from the east and the west, from the north and south. Have mercy O God on those who do not know You. Bring them out of darkness into Your light. You are our saving God who leads us into salvation. Protect us from evil.
Bless and praise You O lord, hear our prayers and answer us. You, our Savior, are the hope of all the ends of the Earth and the distant seas. May Your way be known upon Earth; among all nations Your salvation.
We put the world into Your hands; fill us with Your love. Grant us peace through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
PRAYER FOR A CARMELITE MISSIONARY VOCATION
Lord Jesus, You said: “The harvest is rich but the workers are few; ask the harvest-master to send workers to His harvest” (Lk 10:2)
We pray to You Lord for those young women who are opening their minds to Your call or are already preparing to follow it. May Your word enlighten them and Your grace guide them so that they could find time to listen to Your voice, to be strong in overcoming temptations and may have the courage to say “Yes” to your invitation to follow You in Missionary Carmel.
We also pray for us, Carmelite Missionaries, whom you have already called to love and serve Your Church. Sustain us with Your love and grace so that we would become holy and effective witnesses of the Kingdom and of the Charism… Lord of the Harvest, Please send good and numerous vocations to Missionary Carmel.
Likewise, we pray for those who are still in the initial formation. May You sustain them with Your fidelity so that they may be able to overcome the difficulties and challenges in following You, in faith, hope and love. We offer this prayer, through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Carmel and Mother of the Church, and Blessed Francisco Palau, our Founder. Amen.
PRAYER FOR SMA MISSIONARIES
O God who has chosen the SMA Missionaries to be your agents to the Africans and people of African origin, grant, we pray, that they may be guided by Your Spirit in their ministry towards the most abandoned; the sick, the poor, the refugees, the ignorant, the prisoners…
Provide them with what they need in their daily activities. May they be supported in all means by their friends in accomplishing Your mission on earth. Bless and protect their families from the evil one. Endore in them the mind, spirit and words of wisdom in accomplishing the Mission of Christ.
Keep them away from the evil one. Protect them from any harm. Give them good health and strength to reach out to Your people. May they be role models for Your people. May they laugh with those who laugh and mourn with those who mourn in view of getting people to know Christ who lives and reigns with You in unity with the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever! Amen.
