TO BE ADORED AGAIN

Under the tranquility of an illuminated moon

Our lips transcended the mysterious sky.

The evening played host to our eager embrace.

A song of longing filled the air.

Your kiss told me I was something to adore.

The longest kiss of then and now-

A kiss too powerful to forget.

If I could steal it back from the past

My heart would thank me tirelessly.

I never had to work too hard

For the kiss you placed upon me.
