STREAMS OF HOPE

I’m in no condition to venture there.

I once held high hopes even when nobody cared.

Once I was presented with a shred of dignity,

That was so long ago.

Now I live humiliated.

Everybody can see the simplicity of my soul.

I am merely a notion, soon I will pass.

I ponder life and I think about death

much more than I like..

Lord, don’t lose your grip on me,

Don’t give up hope or your trust in me!

I am a new vessel now,

Let your spirit fill me with delight.

When I separated myself from you,

I fell too far.

I am diligent now, I will be on guard.
