rainbow falls -

i wish i could go

back to them.

the girls.

the girls who

made me feel like i

was invincible.

who took me to my

first “edm rave.”

who taught me

tik tok dances under the

moon, obsessed over

hot ldp boys,

covered me in glitter and

talked all through

rest hour.

we ate hobos in our

hammocks and got

paranoid at 2:30 a.m.

when we all had to pee

really badly.

jokes ranging from

“beige”

to

“let’s see it in 3D”

to

“pbk”

to

“blake,”

we constantly got the

camp photographer to snap

as many pictures together for

the end of the week slideshow.

we complained about

eps and hardly ate

any of the dining hall food,

fattening up on

goldfish, chex mix,

patch kids and sour skittles,

only to walk

ten miles every day at

rainbow falls or

swimming at the waterfront.

to the girls of the best cabin

of my life -

i love you all.

i miss every one of you.

thank you for creating the most

memorable week of my life.

i feel so

empowered as i stand

beside you.

with your

white beatles crop top,

your yellow plaid pants,

your black doc martens,

and the arm you

string through mine.

thank you,

best friend,

for always bringing me

joy when i

never thought i could

smile again.
