The Drunk

His body pulsated to the music,

He took a swig of the beer in his hand,

His eyes averted towards the ladies,

But he was too dizzy, losing focus,

About to fall over his weak feet,

Someone took him to a chair by the side.

He was drunk and vomiting at the side,

The club was still beating to the music,

People were in rhythm, their dancing feet,

He's fortunate to have a help in hand,

But he continues to eye the ladies,

Hoping they will help him restore focus.

Eyes the figures of each of the ladies,

Tries to regain his balance by the side,

A swig of his drink, he has to focus,

The club roaring to the vibrant music,

Someone was clenching tightly to his hand;

He took his shoes off and looked at his feet.

Pulled his hands away to clasp at his feet,

Hardly noticeable by the ladies,

His feet wiggled, he held it up by hand,

He hoped he wouldn't fall off to his side,

No longer in rhythm to the music,

He needed more beer to restore his focus.

The DJ saw him, on him he'd focus,

The man was clasping on to his two feet;

No longer could hear the throbbing music,

The dance floor where there were lots of ladies.

Legs in the air, he would fall on his side,

He still hardly noticed the help in hand.

There was a friend he had to give him a hand,

He slapped him on both cheeks, so he'd focus,

Pulled him so he wouldn't fall to his side

And made sure he'd help him restore his feet.

His hulking body hid all the ladies

From his sights, while continued the music.

With help in hand, whilst would play the music

As more drunk men would focus at ladies,

He's helped at the side, restored to his feet.
