Hide-and-Seek

The children are all playing hide-and-seek,

There are so many rooms around the house.

The hiders make sure the seekers don't peek.

Sam hides in a cupboard, quiet and meek,

Trying to make sure he'll no noise arouse.

The children are all playing hide-and-seek.

Sue squashes in a garage that does reek,

She packs in tightly and creases her blouse.

The hiders make sure the seekers don't peek.

Leo picks a dark spot that makes him freak,

He's sure to keep as quiet as a mouse.

The children are all playing hide-and-seek.

Tim can't decide where, he could take a week,

He remains a lost, undecided grouse.

The hiders make sure the seekers don't peek.

The seekers find Tim first.  Who's hiding sleek?

Leo's the winner, though his spot does touse.

The children are all playing hide-and-seek,

The hiders make sure the seekers don't peek.
