Doug

Doug – Speak it softly.

It sounds like the rustling of leaves.

It whispers gently.

It feels warm like summer rain. Doug -

I hold you in my mind for a second,

For a minute, for all time,

You bring all sorrows to an end.

Doug -- Lay me down

In the eye of your smile

In the core of your need

In the blood of your heart

In the heart of your blood

And make it last forever. Doug -

Softer than summer rain,

Brighter than crystal starlight,

Sweeter than a million sugar dreams,

Laced with golden tears and silver smiles.

Doug -Creator of my universe

Eventuality

I’ll always acquiesce to your wishes

On all levels

On all fronts

Because my happiness

Is contingent on yours.

I would that I could

Reach into my being

And pull out the essence of my spirit

And shape it into a beautiful pulsating star

That would light all your pathways with love

From here to eternity.

I reach for you and in doing so

Reach for myself

Reach for heaven

Reach for eternity

And cast my wish into the universe

That I may spend every second seeing only your eyes

Seeing me.

Belonging to you was never an option It was always an eventuality

Fearless

I dive into your love

Unafraid of riptides,

Undercurrents, or jagged rocks.

I dive into you

In search of precious moments

To weave a beautiful memory

That will last til the end of time.

I become surrounded by you

But I do not drown.

I languish in a pool of love

Heated by the waters of your soul.

I will dance like a diamond

On the waves of your love

And embrace the feeling of my heart bleeding through yours.

I dive into your love

Unafraid and searching

Eager and Anticipating

The deeper waters that you hold secret.

The lovelight shining in your eyes Has rendered me fearless

Fornication

Fornicate with me

And it will no longer be fornication,

It will be greater than love.

It will be love for it’s own sake

And for our sake.

It will be further past ecstasy

Than we’ve traveled before.

The emotion

In the ocean we swim in

Is becoming beyond measure

As our love grows deeper than fornication

And demands undisguised blessings

To sanctify it,

To sanctify us.

Fornicate with me in this deep sea of desire

And watch it turn to gold, become sacred and glow luminous white

Because we make it so. Because we make it love.

Gleaming

It’s wet and gleaming with a deep intrinsic beauty and it’s not even raining.

It’s you reigning over an ocean of emotion, water streaked with kisses

That dance like diamonds on the surface of this dream

We’ve fashioned with our passion.

Your face is the mirror I shine in.

I was lackluster and unpolished –

Then you plucked me from the dust

Of some long forgotten wish and made me come true.

You made wishes become horses

And now this beggar rides on the winds of change

Into the eye of this needle.

You are the serum.

I am the healed.

It’s gleaming so bright

I’m blinded by it’s light

But sight is no longer required. All that is required is you.

Here I Stand

Here I stand, Naded and needing –

Vulnerable,

Nude to the soul

Offering you

All of me

Forever.

Della Reese is singing softly in the background

“Til The End Of Time”

You forever.

Be mine totally.

This is meant to be.

Heaven wrote the song.

Heaven wrote us into it.

Here I stand

Waiting for you To take my hand.

Hey Dougie

Hey Dougie --- How deep is your love?

Does it mirror mine?

Does it reflect with shades of us?

You’ve said to me a couple of times

“I’m too old a cat to be fucked by a kitten”

Well I am not a kitten

AND

I’m not afraid of old cats.

I’m here for a long time,

And a good time.

Can you rise to the occasion?

If not ,

Let’s declare a truce and find another event. All’s fair in love and war – so they say.

Heiroglyphics Understood

You allow me to make the abstract real.

Ghostly flashes that hold the key to something important

Are able to be deciphered.

Simply because you are here.

Made possible by your white hot heat

This heat I’ve searched a lifetime for.

This pulsation that makes living more than living.

It’s suddenly hieroglyphics understood –

Absolutely understood, Because you have read them to me.

I Belong To You

Love –

As deep as it ever gets

Has an even deeper meaning,

Because you are here;

Because you are mine;

Because I am yours.

There is nothing else I strive to be except yours.

This simple fact addresses all my dreams and turns them real.

I am yours -

Yours to command;

Yours to even use and abuse

As long as you love me.

There can be no harm.

I belong to you.

This is indelibly imprinted

On the fabric of time,

On the face of love

In the essence of us. I belong to you forever in time and love.

I Just Don’t Get It

Everybody I know that actually seems to give a shit about me

Phones me more than you.

And I give more than a shit about you – I’m in love with you.

So, why is it that they all phone me more than you??

The question comes to mind----

Do they care more about me than you do?

In my heart of hearts, I think not!

The evidence does allow for inquiry.

I might be predisposed

To think you’re just not a talker

BUT –

One on one proves irrevocably different.

So why--

I ask myself

Does everyone phone me and desire my conversation

More than you? I just don’t get it.

I Lose Myself

You are irresistible,

Absolutely irresistible.

You draw me in

Like a puppet

On a burning string of desire –

Sweetly,

Tenderly

Passionately,

Savagely -

And it is so good,

So perfect

Every time you do it

Every way you do it.

I lose myself in your extreme heat,

Begging to be burned even deeper.

I lose myself

In the corners of this circle encompassing me.

I’m lost in the circle of your love. There is no beginning. There is no end

I Love

I love the feel of your flesh.

I love the way my fingertips tingle

As they caress and flow over your skin.

I love the push and pull I feel pulsating within me

Whenever you touch me.

I love the growing glow of

Heat,

Ache,

Wet,

Sweat.

I love the feeling of sweet surrender Every time you take me.

I love the feeling of you On me,

In me,

All over me.

I love the magnetic draw between us

That cannot ever be neutralized.

I love the way you love me

And I love loving you.

In From The Cold

I’ve never strived to be a heartbreaker,

But as I surrender my heart to you,

2 hearts will shatter

And a few more may crack or break a little.

I was only halfway through an exit

And halfway through an entrance

When you arrived.

And then there were all those other roads I had toe stepped onto.

You and I.

Something like this comes along only once in a lifetime

And if we’re savvy

We’ll grab onto it with a vengeance,

Grasp it tightly to our breast

And never ever leave it unfortified.

This is the stuff dreams are made of.

This is the meaning of life.

This is the love we were born for.

I want to be the spy who came in from the cold And I choose you to be my saviour.

Ink Stains

Contrary to popular belief

The sun does not rise in the east

And set in the west.

In my world,

It rises when you awake

And open your beautiful eyes

And sets when you lay down to rest

And close your weary eyes.

My world consists of many things,

But the essence and texture of you is woven throughout

Softly pervading each quintessential thought I give rise to.

Ink stains on a carpet of white

Could be rinsed away far easier

Than the love you have poured into me,

Over me.

You are the beautiful ink stain on my being

Softly spreading Enveloping me totally.

The Key

Whenever you’re gone –

The Sun doesn’t shine as bright.

The rain doesn’t feel as fresh or wet,

The moon loses its luminosity.

I lose myself.

There’s an indescribable ache,

An unequivocal emptiness.

Oh –

I get by

-- Just barely.

The world becomes hazy

And the code to happiness becomes elusive

And indecipherable.

Without you I’m locked inside a universe that doesn’t suit me.

You’re the only key That opens me.

Listen To The Universe

Have you ever wondered why things happen as they do?

It’s divine justice.

It’s predestination---

The indelible sort.

Do you ever wonder why we met?

It had to be –

It simply couldn’t not happen.

We can wonder ourselves through a million Sundays

And never find Monday,

OR –

We can go with the flow,

See It through

And become that which

predestination has ordained.

Hush - - Listen to the Universe.

It will not lie to us As long as we believe in each other

Look Deeply

They say the eyes are the mirror of the soul.

Look deeply into mine my love

And see all the beautiful things you are to me.

You are my music

My words,

My happiness

My soul

Myself.

Déjà vu and eternity have nothing on us.

We’ve been around for a million years

And always loving each other somewhere inside time.

We’ve both been around enough to know

You save the very best until last,

AND At last, we’ve tangled in eternity again.

Moments

There are moments in time

And then –

There are extremely special moments that defy time -

Become incandescent,

Become eternal,

Live and breathe forever;

Stretching,

Bending,

` Encompassing

The spectum of “All”.

The moment we first made love

Became not only one of these special moments,

It became

And always will be

The most special moment ever.

It became the spectrum of us!

Outside of this,

Outside of us, There is nothing.

Muse

An Artist,

Poet, painter or sculptor, without a Muse

Is like a scream inside a vacuum --

Unexpressed and unfulfilled.

Without a Muse the words, paint and clay

Lay formless, dried up and broken

In an emotionless void of iniquity,

After decades of ceaseless drought

The creative juices are finally flowing again.

I thank God and Chance

That you drifted on a warm and oh so welcome wind

Into my little corner of the world.

The feeling is here simply because you are, because you exist.

In my eyes you outshine all the stars in the universe.

Your face, Your eyes,

Your smile, Your voice, Your touch

Are the essence of Love, Life, Heaven and Dreams.

You have made my spirit come alive.

You have awakened the inner silence, and believe me,

You most assuredly are My only Muse.

Naked and Needing

Into the fire,

Naked and needing,

I jump heartlong

Onto the licking tongue of the flame you create.

It quenches the thirst,

Satisfies the hunger

That has run rampant within me

All those centuries I spent before you came to me.

Sliding down the blade of your knife

At last I feel the true cut of love

Taking me higher,

Making me fire.

I will always come to you naked and needing

To bathe in this fire you have created

To warm my frost bitten heart. To thaw my ice clad soul.
