TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP

Am on my way,

To the place where eagles lay,

Falcons rest,

A bliss so adorable,

An hill sparkling like diamonds,

The land of promise,

There I go.

The hill so steep,

The mountain so high,

I soar to greater heights.

To the place fit for only great men,

Am on my way,

To the peak of the mountain.

Many I meet on my way,

The wise ones follow me,

The foolish despise me,

The simple know me not,

The mighty envy me,

My companions fuel my soul.

I am not alone in this journey,

I maybe one,

Yet am many,

I seek for the precious one,

On my way upward,

How many I find?

None I can see.

I maybe far from the top,

I see the peak moving closer,

If thou be wise,

Take your place in my heart now,

When I reach the top,

You may never have the chance.

I take the path,

Where the great fall,

The weak stumble,

The strong weaken,

And the wise is defeated.

Not my wisdom can climb this hill.

The grace of God support me,

I shall not stumble,

When I fall down,

The Lord pick me.

A path so deadly,

There I thread,

Moving with faith,

The valley of death beneath,

God help me not to fall.

Climbing with silence,

No one knows who I am,

Few take note of me.

I am despised and rejected,

I humble my soul,

I know who I am.

Many regard not my words,

Their price they pay,

When I reach the mountain top.

I know not how,

I don't know when,

But I am sure,

Sometime, somehow, someday.

All hills shall lie below me,

All valleys shall be exalted,

And I will soar beyond all heights.

And there I would be,

On the mountain top.
