PEACE-GLITTERING EARTH
Every day we count the hours
We moan and groan about the seeds of our hands
We pack our sandwiches in porcelain plates
and pretend we're holy and golden
Climb the Head Mountains to be the first in the boss lane
Without hesitation we pluck feathers from our neighbours' eyes
Artificial angel wings come from our mouths
Ragged people in sea-sand clothes beg for our mercy
We swim in our own green poisonous words
Rock 'n Roll caskets fly out of our hands
More and more pollution rolls from our tongues
Poison ivy flows from our hearts
We drink our own golden sunlight
With ice fingers we dissect the innocent, the poor
We wear our artificial halos around our necks
Golden sphere-clothes cover our bodies
Angel-wings are on sale in rich women boutiques
We climb the human-ladder
Push the heads of the powerless down with our heel
Use and abuse our children in the name of progress
Cheat is the new world-order in our marriages
Alcohol is the fruit juice for a cloud 9 happiness
Answers to high-mountain questions are developed in sci-fi labs
Christmas Day is only a money-making day
Our eyes ask "Is my gift more valuable than yours?"
All of us only want to wear a diamond crown
How will we survive when we buy nanobytes to eat
We destroy the only earth we have
Dark clouds splatter at the back of our heels
We bite holes in our mates' hearts
Dance with wolves on the top of rainbow-drops
Our future-clock is threatening to fall from heaven
Earth is blood-screaming in our ears
Do we sail in our Viking boats to our own downfall?
Atomic-bombs smile bright-eyed at our arrogant-brains
Will we awake from this anaconda-snake dream
Let us take each other's hand and build a peace-glittering earth
or did we already betray the only planet that really loves us
