MOTHER EARTH
Mother Earth gave birth to us
With sweat and tears she nurtured us with love
Day and night she held us to her bosom
Protected us against the thunders and hurricanes
She let us explore the world
She filled the rivers and seas for us
Forests of trees were spread all over the planet
mountains of animals hobbled into our lives
We built cities of iron and steel to protect ourselves
Sailed over the seven seas to conquer more countries
Blood, lust and wars became our soul mates
Milk and honey turned sour in our mouths
Slowly the ocean tears started to flow out of Mother Earth's eyes
She called us back
We turned our ears deaf
Again and again Mother Earth's voice rang like a necklace call
We started playing with fire-dolls
Trees fell helpless into the fire-fingers
We laughed and raptor danced in our concrete palaces
We destroyed our earth gifts with our anthrax-breath
Did we splatter and spew one too many time on Mother Earth
Can we unbreak her heart
Will Mother Earth give us a happy ending after all our broken promises
or are we entering a doom-galaxy
