First things first - why are all of my stories free to download as eBooks I've thought long and hard about this and the conclusion I've come to is that it's all about presence Despite some years of success in competition and with magazines and online publishers I've still got a pile of rejections from the mainstream industry My stories and books have good reviews and have received positive editorial for years now all of which leads me to think that our industry is a little skewed at the moment So rather than flog a dead horse I've decided to go online to resurrect good old Dickensian serialization and to make my stories absolutely free across as many platforms and sites as I can By concentrating on creating presence and by building a download audience I'll find a way to make a living out of all this imagination and graft You can of course still buy print versions of my books just check out the links on the relevant book pages http www cpibookdelivery com As for me I've been writing since age and had various shorts and pieces of poetry published over the years I started writing longer fiction a few years ago and have even set up my own small publishing company in collaboration with other writers at The Write Factor in the hope of encouraging others to be confident about self-publishing and all of the stuff that goes with that route to getting your work out there I have some experience in the industry generally having worked as a journalist and contributor to various magazines and newspapers although I'm concentrating on fiction right now I'm looking forward to getting new work up for you all in the coming months and hopefully we'll get chance to share work
Well, all things bookish, of course, but after I've quit the keyboard and the graphics tablet I like to keep busy. Right now I'm doing up a 200 year old house and garden, am experimenting with video and audio production, collect stamps, love films and the cinema and theatre, and spend a wee bit of time socialising with friends in pubs here in Bath, UK.
