Materials:
LION BRAND UNIQUE (Art. #755)
#205 Grapevine 3 (4, 5, 6) balls
or color of your choice
LION BRAND knitting needles size 9 (5.5 mm)
LION BRAND stitch markers
LION BRAND stitch holder
LION BRAND large-eyed blunt needle
2 buttons, about 3/4 in. (19 mm) diameter
Gauge: 13 sts + 20 rows = about 4 in. (10 cm) in Zigzag pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to match the gauge, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Stitch Explanations
1/1 LC (1 over 1 left cross) Slip 1 st to cable needle and hold in front of work, k1, then k1 from cable needle.
1/1 RC (1 over 1 right cross) Slip 1 st to cable needle and hold in back of work, k1, then k1 from cable needle.
M1 (make 1) An increase worked by lifting the horizontal strand lying between needles and placing it onto the left needle. Knit this new stitch through the back loop – 1 st increased.
sl2kp (slip 2-k1-pass slipped sts over)
A double decrease worked as follows:1. Insert right needle into next 2 sts as if to knit them tog, and slip them from the left needle to the right needle.
2. Knit the next st.
3. With tip of left needle, lift the 2 slipped sts (the 2nd and 3rd sts on the right needle) up and over the knit st (first st on right needle) and off the needle – you have decreased 2 sts.
