Size: Finished Width About 54 in. (127 cm), measured across top edge; Finished Length About 27 in. (68.5 cm), measured from back neck to lower center edge
Materials:
LION BRAND AMAZING (Art. #825)
#200 Aurora 2 balls
#203 Wildflowers 2 balls
#206 Arcadia 1 ball
#208 Glacier Bay 1 bal
or colors of your choice
LION BRAND knitting needles size 7 (4.5 mm)
LION BRAND stitch markers
LION BRAND large-eyed blunt needle
Gauge: 14 sts + 28 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). Each Rectangle = 3 x 6 in (7.5 x 15 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to match the gauge, try using smaller size needles; if more stitches and rows, try larger size needles.
Notes
1. Shawl is worked, in a modular fashion, from rows of Rectangles. The first row consists of one Rectangle, the second row consists of two Rectangles, the third row consists of three Rectangles and so on. Refer to Assembly Diagram for placement of Rectangles.
2. Each Rectangle is made with two miters (angles) formed by working decrea ses on every other row.
3. Change colors randomly as desired. To change color, cut the old color leaving an 8 in. (20.5 cm) tail then begin working with the new color leaving a beginning tail. You may knot the old and new yarn tails together, if desired. When you have finished knitting, unknot the yarn tails and weave them in.

Rows 1-23: Rep Rows 1-23 of Rectangle 1.
Fasten off.
Rectangle 3
From RS, with desired color, pick up and k11 sts evenly spaced across left side edge of Rectangle 2; working across rem top edge of Rectangle 1, pick up and k12 sts evenly spaced across to corner, cast on 23 sts – 46 sts.
Rows 1-23: Rep Rows 1-23 of Rectangle 1.
Fasten off.
THIRD ROW
Rectangle 4
From RS, with desired color, cast on 23 sts; working across top of first Rectangle of previous row, pick up and k12 sts evenly spaced across to center of edge, cast on 11 sts – 46 sts.

Fasten off.
Rectangle 5 (Center Rectangle)
From RS, with desired color, pick up and k11 sts evenly spaced across left side edge of previous
Rectangle; working across rem top edge of Rectangle of previous row, pick up and k12 sts evenly spaced across to corner; working acrosstop edge of next Rectangle of previous row, pick up and k12 sts evenly spaced across to center of edge, cast on 11 sts – 46 sts.
Rows 1-23: Rep Rows 1-23 of Rectangle 1.
Fasten off.
Rectangle 6
From RS, with desired color, pick up and k11 sts evenly spaced across left side edge of previous
