Knowing my interest in films people often ask me what do I think are the best ten films ever. This is an extremely difficult question and obviously very controversial. It would be easier perhaps to list twenty! But if forced here is my list of a dozen films to take to a desert island. Sorry I could not get below 12!

And while I am singling out the all time greats the best TV drama series ever made in my opinion has been Homeland particularly Series 1 & 2.
