Is Jesus Christ A Jew?
Who is a Jew? A Jew is anyone born of Israel. Jacob/Israel is the father of the Jews. Any child born of any of the children of Jacob/Israel is a Jew and an Israelite. If your parents are living in the land of Israel and give birth to you there, it doesn’t make you a Jew even though you are born there. The idea of being a citizen as a result of being born in a particular country is man’s idea not God’s idea. For you to be called a Jew, your father particularly must be of the seed of Jacob/Israel.
Again I bring the question to you, is Jesus a Jew? From the scripture it is clear that Jesus is called the son of David because Joseph the husband of Mary that gave birth to Jesus is of the lineage of David who is the lineage of Judah who is one of the sons of Jacob/Israel. So you can say yes, Jesus is a Jew. If you say Jesus Christ is a Jew of which is the root and offspring of David as the scripture said I will not argue your answer but will go ahead with another question. Hmmm; it’s getting interesting
