Dear LORD,
I get it now. Thats part of the lesson of the loaves and fishes. The disciples were told to feed the multitudes first, before they themselves had eaten. They were to give when they had no idea that there would be anything left for themselves. They had to give sacrificially so they could become more like You. I need to do the same. Forgive me for my fear of insufficiency, and help me to give more than I have. I belong to You. Love,

Dear LORD,
The people, to whom I have been giving the manger scene, rejected it.... rejected You. They had moved last nights delivery (the donkey) to one side, but had not taken it into the house. When I brought tonights delivery, (the empty manger) I set it down on the porch anyway; but as I walked away, I heard their garage door open. I kept walking, and hoped they hadnt seen me well enough to identify me. Its like they were lying in wait for me. It didnt feel safe. Should I keep delivering in spite of their rejection, or should I stop? I will do what You tell me.

Thank You for providing wise counsel yesterday through D., and confirming it today through R.. Thank You for guiding me to give the first four parts of the manger scene, culminating with the empty manger and the message about there being no room at the inn. Please help this family to find a place for You in their hearts. Without You, there is no Christmas day.
