As I mentioned before, you don’t want your prayer to sound selfish in any way at all. Pray to God for your family and friends that they may overcome any struggles that they are having in their lives. Pray for anyone who is suffering worldwide. Pray that they may find peace and finally pray for the goodness and abundance of all. These prayers will show that you are a kind, caring and considerate person who is not only here for personal gain. You have other people’s interests at heart. I recommend generic prayers here and I usually use 3 of them. Hail Mary, Our Father and Hosanna In The Highest work fine here but you may want to change them by doing a little bit of research and using your own. That is fine because it shows God that you are willing to put a lot of effort into this. Say each of the prayers once in succession of each other and then finish with a final short prayer of praise to God before finally offering your thanks to God for listening to your prayers and granting you the desires of your heart. Thank God for the unconditional love that he has given you and assure God that you will pray again very soon. Make sure you follow up on your assurance to pray again soon even when you are sitting around waiting for your request to be granted. There is no problem with praying the same thing over and over again. God wants you to be in this for the long run and not just be a ‘’hit-and-run’’ type of person. Finish your prayer by saying ‘’God bless me, May almighty God bless me in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.’’ Your prayer is finished and I know you feel great.
