You were gentle, loving and sweet
We used to love hearing the bird’s tweet
The squirrels run up and down the trees
The cute bunny rabbits hopping in your yard were so sweet
You fed them every day
I felt blessed by your angelic ways
The pretty sunflowers big as could be
One time they even showed them on TV
Your generous actions and concern
You inspired me to discern
To follow my dreams
To focus on me
You told me that I could be anything I wanted to be
We had such a special bond
How I tenderly long
To see you again
You were truly my best friend
I’m so sorry you missed me so
I missed you too so much that you could never know
Fate kept us away at the end
You were always in my heart I can’t pretend
Tucked safely deep within the depths of my heart
I was heartbroken the day you had to depart
I often wonder if your spirit is that heavenly bright star
You lost so much in that horrific fire; such as your family and home
The horrific fire that took Kenny away and you were left alone
Thank God your loving sister and family were there for you
I’m so sorry for all that you went through
You are an angel to me
