Centuries ago, we had the understanding that all objects fell at different speeds according to their weight. Galileo changed that. After him came Newton to describe gravity even more precisely. Newtonian physics was all that was necessary until about 100 years ago. It took an Einstein to solve astronomical problems with his General Relativity. I think we have the same problem in modern Christianity. We have learned a lot, but our understanding of the Kingdom of God is inadequate. Since we have an inadequate understanding, some of our interpretations of Scripture are quite wrong. This is my study into the topic that has changed my thoughts entirely.
